DMA responds to BBC1
'junk mail' feature -
the dma

The DMA’s chief executive Chris Combemale was interviewed for BBC1’s new magazine show That’s Britain! for its feature on the so-called ‘junk mail’ industry. Providing balance for the show’s ill-informed criticisms of the industry, Chris put forward the arguments for the value of advertising mail to the UK economy.

In response to the show, the DMA produced factsheet for its members, outlining the facts and figures in support of advertising mail, plus details of the new environmental agreement that it has recently reached with Defra.
